Three and Four Weeks

Wait - What's That Black Thing?

Solo is a German Shepherd Puppy who was the only puppy born to her mom.  She is the same age as our little band.  Solo is a very sweet little girl who spent the first 4 weeks of her life with her mom only and so did not learn all the important things that a puppy needs to learn from their litter mates - like how to play and how to jostle for food.  When Solo first arrived she was readily accepted by our puppies and by Laurel but she just sat quietly while everyone else played - and tried to play with her.  After a day or so, she was starting to react to the other puppies and then within 2 days she was starting to initiate play and to jostle for food.

Soon Solo learnt quickly to play and eat like everyone else

After just 3 days Solo acted and played like a normal puppy.
